As women, so many of us have been taught that moving our bodies is about looking a certain way. Forget this nonsense. Movement is a conversation with your body. It is joy, playfulness and the sense of aliveness. Over these four days, we will explore what happens when suppressed energy is allowed to move again. We will awaken, feel, and release.

My time in Morocco has inspired a deep return to simplicity, nature, and the elements. In this retreat you will reconnect with exactly those forces within yourself. Each element carries a different quality: air to open and expand, fire to transform, earth to ground, and water to soften and flow. We’ll explore what element calls you the most and create space for it to move through you and into your life.
Hi, I’m Jenny.
Certified Yin Yoga Instructor and Yoga Nidra Guide Coming from the fast-paced world of journalism and having dealt with burnout, I know exactly what it means to race through life with such speed that you wake up one day and barely recognize yourself. “Push a little harder here, do a little more there,” I told myself. But somewhere in the midst of all the pushing and relentless striving — that’s where I lost myself. I already knew back then, this wasn’t the path I was meant to walk. It wasn’t healthy, and it wasn’t living. It couldn’t be.
So, I paused.
And stepped onto the mat. Yoga made me realize that stillness and peace existed; I just needed to actively make space for them. With each breath, I found presence; with each move, I started to feel into my body and mind again, melting into complete relaxation and letting creativity flow effortlessly.
I strongly believe that yoga is one of the greatest pauses available to us in the chaos of modern life.
And it is my mission to create that exact pause for you — a moment where you can rediscover the pure joy of moving your body and where you step out of the noise and back into yourself.
My Methods.
Yin Yoga
In Yin Yoga, we move with intention and mindfulness. Each pose is held for three to five minutes. During this time, you allow yourself to soften and melt into the pose fully. The goal is not to push to your max, but rather to find your sweet spot. It is in this stillness that you begin to observe both body and mind, creating a safe space for pausing and deep insight.
Also referred to as the Yogic Sleep, this lying-down meditation can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, guiding you into, what I like to call “the in-between” zone. Many describe the practice of Yoga Nidra as feeling deeply relaxed yet with a mind that remains aware. Here you can find profound rest, release emotional blockages and tap into your creativity.
Yoga Nidra
Sometimes our mind becomes so cluttered that we need to clean up – with words on paper. As word after word flows out of you, a sense of clarity begins to form. The chaos in your head finds a new home on the page. And guess what? You don’t need to be Shakespeare. It’s a simple, grounding act that can help you process emotions, reduce stress and gain a new perspective.

Berber Waves Morocco
We’ll be staying in a traditional surf house named Berber Waves in Tamraght, Morocco.
The easiest way to arrive is by flying into Agadir Airport, where we will pick you up.
Berber Waves is run by a Moroccan family that completely stole my heart. There’s our young Maryam, who holds everything together with such warmth and ease. Her brother Mohamed, a real Nomad, local driver of our iconic red surf car and your go-to surf guide. There’s Hassan, brother number two, who’ll also be taking you on all our little adventures and making sure you feel safe in the waves. And of course, Mama Aisha. The heart of the home. She’ll be feeding us the most delicious meals, the kind that make you secretly consider never leaving again. (I’m serious.)
